Vacancy Details
- Post Name: Officer in JMGS-I (Local Bank Officer)
- Total Vacancies: 750 (State-wise and category-wise distribution as per official notification)
- Reservation: SC – 108, ST – 51, OBC – 197, EWS – 72, UR – 322.
- Mandatory Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state applied.
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: Minimum 18 months of service as an Officer in a Public Sector Bank or Regional Rural Bank.
(Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, private banks, payment banks, small finance banks, or fintechs will not be considered.)
Salary Details
- Pay Scale (JMGS-I): ₹48,480 – 85,920 plus allowances.
- Additional increments for JAIIB/CAIIB qualifications.
- Other benefits: DA, HRA/leased accommodation, medical, LTC, terminal benefits as per bank rules.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian citizen or as per Govt. of India norms (including Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and PIOs).
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC – 3 yrs, PwBD – 10 yrs, Ex-Servicemen – 5 yrs, 1984 riot victims – 5 yrs.
- Other Requirements:
- Must have CIBIL score of 650+ at joining.
- Must qualify in local language proficiency test (if applicable).
