Educational Qualification
- Project Scientist (Agriculture/Fisheries)
- Master’s in Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics/Agricultural Science (Agronomy/Soil Science) / Geography (Remote Sensing) / Zoology (Fish Biology & Fishery Science) or equivalent.
- Desirable: Experience in RS & GIS, GPS/UAV.
- Project Scientist (IT)
- MTech/M.E./MCA/M.Sc. in Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer Science, IT, Geoinformatics or equivalent.
OR - B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT/Geoinformatics/Geomatics with relevant experience.
- Desirable: Experience in App/Portal Development, Spatial Decision Support Systems, AI/ML/DL, Programming (C++, Java, Python, R, JS), Hadoop, SQL, GeoServer, ArcGIS, etc.
- MTech/M.E./MCA/M.Sc. in Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer Science, IT, Geoinformatics or equivalent.
- Project Scientist (Forestry & Ecology)
- Master’s in Forestry/Botany (Taxonomy/Ecology) with PG training in RS/Geoinformatics
OR - M.Tech in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing/Spatial Information Science with forestry/ecological experience.
- Master’s in Forestry/Botany (Taxonomy/Ecology) with PG training in RS/Geoinformatics
- Project Scientist (LULC Change Analysis/Border Monitoring/Geo-analytics)
- M.Sc./M.Tech in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing/GIS/Geospatial Technology
OR - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with Diploma in RS & GIS/Geoinformatics
OR - M.Sc. in Geography/Earth Science with RS & GIS Diploma.
- Desirable: Skills in satellite data processing (SAR/optical), Google Earth Engine, AI/ML-based geospatial tools, Python/JavaScript, Web GIS applications.
- M.Sc./M.Tech in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing/GIS/Geospatial Technology
Salary Details
- Project Scientist (Agriculture/Fisheries/Forestry/IT): Rs. 30,000/- + Employer’s CPF contribution per month
- Project Scientist (LULC Change Analysis/Border Monitoring): Rs. 54,000/- per month (inclusive of CPF contributions)
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 1st January 2025
- Nationality: Indian citizens only
- Other Requirements: Candidates must bring filled-in application form, self-attested copies of certificates, two passport photos, and original documents for verification.
