Educational Qualification
Post-wise qualification will be detailed in Annexure-III (not visible in images). Generally, candidates with Matriculation, 10+2, Graduation, or higher degrees can apply depending on the post.
Salary Details
- Varies post-wise as per the department’s pay structure.
- Generally under Pay Level 1 to Pay Level 7 (7th CPC).
- Specific pay scales will be provided in post-wise details in Annexure-III.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality:
- Indian citizen, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee (with conditions), or person of Indian origin from select countries.
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):
- Different posts have age limits ranging between 18 to 42 years.
- Refer to Annexure-III for post-specific age limits.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 15 years (category-wise)
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service
- Central Govt Employees: Up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST)
- Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹100
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women: Exempted
- Payment Mode: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Debit/Credit Card
How to Apply
- Visit the SSC Official Website.
- Register via One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC portal.
- Fill out the online form and upload required documents and photographs.
- Pay the application fee through available online modes.
- Submit and take a printout for reference.
Note: Applications submitted without fee (where applicable) or prescribed photograph format will be rejected.
