RPF Constable Recruitment Selection Process:
The recruitment process for Constable posts includes the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Document Verification (DV)
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Number of Questions: 120
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
- Exam Level: 10th/Matric Level
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deduction for each incorrect answer
- Pass Marks:
- UR, EWS, OBC-NCL: 35%
- SC & ST: 30%
- Normalization: Marks will be normalized for CBTs held in multiple shifts.
- Exam Language: Available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional Indian languages.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- Candidates shortlisted based on CBT performance will undergo PET/PMT.
- Ex-servicemen are exempted from PET but must appear for PMT.
- PET is qualifying in nature, and no marks are awarded.
3. Document Verification (DV):
- Candidates will be called for document verification based on the CBT, PET, and PMT results.
- Candidates must submit original documents and self-attested photocopies during the document verification process.
- Upload scanned copies of your photo and signature on the portal before the DV date.
