Educational Qualification
- For skilled trades: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board before the closing date of receipt of the application form. (Applicable for Barber, Boot Maker/Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Carpenter, Mali, Painter, Charge Mechanic, Washer Man, Welder, Electrician, and Motor Pump Attendant). The recruitment team will give preference to ITI-trained personnel.
- For Unskilled Trades: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board before the closing date of receipt of the application form (applicable for Sweeper).
- Candidates with certificates from boards other than state/central boards must produce a Government of India notification declaring their qualification equivalent to matriculation.
Age Relaxation for CISF Constable/Tradesman Recruitment

- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service rendered
- Children and dependent family members of 1984 riot victims or 2002 Gujarat riot victims:

Physical Standards
- Male Candidates:
- Height (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC except for special categories): 170 cm
- Chest (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC except for special categories): 80-85 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)

- Height (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC except for special categories): 157 cm
- No minimum chest requirement for female candidates.
Selection Process
- Online Application: Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST): Candidates must meet physical eligibility requirements.
- Document Verification & Trade Test: Verification of original documents and trade proficiency test.
- Written Examination: Conducted in both English and Hindi, either as an OMR-based test or a computer-based test (CBT).
- Medical Examination: Final selection will be subject to medical fitness.
- Merit List: Based on performance in PET, PST, documentation, trade test, and written examination.
Application Fee
- Fee Payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- Exemptions: Female candidates and those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) who are eligible for reservation do not have to pay the fee.
- Payment Modes:
- Online payment through Net Banking, Credit/Debit/Rupay cards, and UPI.
- Offline payment through cash deposit in SBI branches using SBI Challan.
- Other payment methods will not be accepted.
- Payment Deadlines:
- Online payment can be made up to 03/04/2025 (23:59 Hrs).
- Candidates opting for SBI Challan must generate it before 03/04/2025 (23:59 Hrs) and make the cash payment at SBI branches before 05/04/2025 (during bank working hours).
- Refund Policy: Once you pay the fees, they are non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for any other examination.
- Non-payment Consequences: Applications from candidates who do not pay the required fee (except exempt categories) will be rejected.
- Additional Charges: Bank tariffs/taxes will be borne by the candidate.
- Invalid Payments: Fees paid before 05/03/2025 (the opening date of applications) will not be accepted.
