Eligibility Criteria for Credit Officer (JMGS-I)
A candidate must be either:
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India or
- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam) to permanently settle in India.
Candidates under categories (ii), (iii), and (iv) must provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Criteria (As of 30.11.2024)
Candidates must fulfill the following age requirements:
- Minimum Age: 20 years (Candidate must be born on or before 30.11.2004)
- Maximum Age: 30 years (Candidate must be born on or after 30.11.1994)
Educational Qualification for Credit Officer (JMGS-I)
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with:
- 60% marks or equivalent grade for general candidates
- 55% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates
- The qualification must be recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government
- The candidate must have:
- A valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate
- Proof of being a graduate on the date of registration
- The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online

- Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility certificate for persons with specified disabilities under Section 2(s) of the RPWD Act, 2016, but not covered under Section 2(r) (i.e., persons with less than 40% disability who have difficulty in writing)
- The certificate must confirm the limitation to write and the necessity of a scribe, issued by a competent medical authority of a Government healthcare institution (as per Appendix I format)
APPLICATION FEES & INTIMATION CHARGES
Application fees/intimation charges are payable online from 30.01.2025 to 20.02.2025 (both dates inclusive). The charges are as follows:
- ₹150/- (exclusive of GST) – Women/SC/ST/PWBD candidates
- ₹750/- (exclusive of GST) – All other candidates
Note:
- The candidate will bear bank transaction charges for online payment of fees/intimation charges.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING ONLINE
- Visit the Official Website
- Go to the Central Bank of India website.
- Click on the Recruitment Tab and open the page.
- Click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CREDIT OFFICERS-PGDBF CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA”
- You will be redirected to the online application form
- New Registration
- Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter basic details.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and displayed on the screen.
- An Email & SMS with the Provisional Registration details will be sent.
- Candidates can reopen and edit the saved data using the Provisional Registration number and password if needed.
