Exam Pattern: AIIMS CRE 2025
Candidates applying for Group B & C posts under AIIMS CRE 2025 will have to appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT). Here’s everything you need to know:
- Duration & Marks
- Total Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Total Marks: 400
- Each question carries 4 marks
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
- Sectional Format
- The exam is divided into 5 timed sections, each with 20 questions and 18 minutes duration.
- Sections will appear one by one and will be locked after their time ends. You cannot go back to previous sections.
- Review and attempt all questions in the active section before time runs out.
- Syllabus Composition
- 20 questions on:
- General Knowledge & Aptitude
- Computer Knowledge
- 80 questions based on domain-specific subject according to your applied post and qualifications.
- 20 questions on:
- Medium of Examination
- Bilingual (English & Hindi): For posts requiring 10th/12th level qualifications
- English Only: For posts with technical qualifications or bachelor’s degree and above
- English Only: For combined exams where qualifications vary
- Note: No request for change in exam language will be entertained.

- General/UR & EWS: 40%
- OBC: 35%
- SC/ST: 30%
- PwBD (all categories): 30%
