The nature of engagement shall be purely contractual for 11 (eleven) months only, which may be extended subject to satisfactory annual performance.

1. Post Graduate Teacher (Arts):
- Qualification Requirements:
- Post Graduate Degree in Arts from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
2. Post Graduate Teacher (Science):
- Qualification Requirements:
- Post Graduate Degree in Science from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
3. Validity of Degrees:
- Degrees/certificates issued by off-campus institutions having study centers in Assam but not recognized by the Distance Education Council (DEC) under UGC will not be considered valid for employment.
- Valid degrees/diplomas conferred by KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL under Gauhati University, and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University are acceptable.
4. Additional Requirements:
- Must have efficiency in teaching in English as Adarsha Vidyalayas are CBSE-affiliated English medium schools.
- Proficiency in teaching two additional subjects is required.

- 100 marks based on the percentage of marks in MA/M.Sc. Examination.
