Educational Qualification
- Infrastructure Planning & Management (IPM):
- ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade with 3 years’ experience in operating 33/11 KV, 11/0.433 KV substations and DG sets.
- Central Workshop:
- ITI Certificate in Carpentry with 3 years’ experience.
- OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- OR ITI in Turner with 3 years’ experience operating CNC machines.
- Central Instruments Facility (CIF):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry)
- OR Diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics, Engineering Physics, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Desirable: 1 year experience operating analytical equipment (e.g. spectrophotometer, mass spectrometer, X-ray diffractometer, electron microscope, magnetometer).
Salary Details
- Pay Matrix Level: Level 3 as per 7th CPC
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Up to 27 years (Relaxations as per Govt. of India rules).
- Upper Age Limit: No age bar for regular employees of IIT Guwahati.
- Nationality: Indian nationals only.
