DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment 2025 : 228 Vacancies

The Directorate of Elementary Education has released the official notification for DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment 2025. A total of 228 vacancies are available in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Schools across Assam. Eligible candidates with ATET/CTET qualification and Special Education training can apply online. • Total Vacancies: 228 posts
  • Lower Primary (LP) Schools: 120 posts
  • Upper Primary (UP) Schools: 108 posts

Educational Qualification

1. For Upper Primary (UP) Schools (108 posts):
   • Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI.
   • Must have ATET/CTET passed certificate for UP Schools.
2. For Lower Primary (LP) Schools (120 posts):
   • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by RCI.
   • Must have ATET/CTET passed certificate for LP Schools.
   • Candidates with Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) + ATET/CTET are also eligible.

Salary Details

• Pay Band – 2 (PB-2): ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/-
• Grade Pay (GP):
  • UP Schools: ₹8,700/-
  • LP Schools: ₹7,400/-
• Plus other allowances as per Assam Govt. rules.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):
  • UR: 18 – 40 years
  • OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years
  • SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years
  • PwD: up to 50 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years
• Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
• Must follow Assam Govt. Small Family Norms (not more than two living children after 01.01.2021).
• A candidate can apply only for one post against one ATET/CTET Roll No.
