SBI PO Recruitment 2025 has been officially announced by the State Bank of India. This recruitment drive offers 541 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officer.   • SC: 80 (75 Regular + 5 Backlog)
  • ST: 73 (37 Regular + 36 Backlog)
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 135
  • EWS: 50
  • UR: 203

PwBD Vacancies (Horizontal): 5 each for VI, HI, LD, d&e categories

Educational Qualification
(as on 30.09.2025)

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Final year students may apply provisionally but must produce proof of graduation by 30.09.2025.
  • Candidates with professional degrees (e.g., CA, Engineering, Medical, etc.) are also eligible.

Salary Details

  • Basic Pay: ₹48,480 + 4 increments
  • Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – 85,920
  • CTC (at Mumbai): Approx. ₹20.43 Lakhs per annum
  • Includes allowances: DA, HRA/Lease Rental, PF, NPS, Medical, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2025):

  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 30 years
    Born between: 02.04.1995 and 01.04.2004 (inclusive)

Age Relaxation:

  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: 10–15 years (depending on category)
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

Nationality:

  • Must be a citizen of India.

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹750
  • SC/ST/PwBD: No Fee

Selection Process

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
  • Mode: Online (Objective Type)
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 1 hour (20 minutes for each section)

Sections:

  1. English Language – 30 Questions (30 Marks)
  2. Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Questions (35 Marks)
  3. Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions (35 Marks)

Key Points:

  • No sectional cut-off.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Candidates approx. 10 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Mains.
Phase-II: Main Examination
  • Mode: Online
  • Total Marks: 250
    • Objective Test: 200 Marks
    • Descriptive Test: 50 Marks

  • Duration: 3 hours (Separate timing for each section)

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in objective tests.

  • Candidates up to 3 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for Phase-III.
Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercise & Interview
  1. Psychometric Test – For personality profiling (Not scored but shared with the interview panel)
  2. Group Exercise – 20 Marks
  3. Interview – 30 Marks

Total Phase-III Marks: 50

Final Selection Criteria
  • Weightage:
    • Mains (Objective + Descriptive): 75 marks (scaled from 250)
    • Phase-III (GE + Interview): 25 marks (scaled from 50)
  • Total: 100 marks
  • Candidates must qualify both Phase-II and Phase-III separately.
  • Final merit list is based on aggregate marks (normalized).
