The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) is a schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Government of India (Ministry of Railways) and in collaboration with the Government of Assam. It is an ambitious and one of the biggest projects in the infrastructure sector, set up to build high-capacity and high-speed rail freight corridors along the Golden Quadrilateral and its diagonals. The first phase comprises the construction & Operation of two dedicated freight corridors: Eastern DFC and Western DFC. At present, the company has its Corporate Office in New Delhi (soon to be shifted to Noida) and Field Units in Ambala, Meerut, Tundla (Agra), Prayagraj (East & West), Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar, Kolkata, Mumbai (North & South), Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Ajmer, Jaipur, and Noida.

Examination Cities for DFCCIL posts
- The 1st stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) is expected to be conducted in major cities across India, including Agra, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh/Mohali, Chennai, Delhi/NCR, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, and more. Exact locations will depend on the response and availability of centers in each city.
- The 2nd stage of CBT will likely take place in Delhi/NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai, subject to the number of candidates and logistical feasibility. For posts with a smaller number of applicants, the exam may be conducted exclusively in Delhi/NCR.
