1. Graduate Apprentice (Engineering)
- Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in relevant Engineering disciplines from a recognized university.
- Salary: Rs. 18,000/- per month

2. Technician Apprentice (Diploma)
- Eligibility: Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized institution.
- Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month
- Disciplines & Vacancies:
- Electrical/Mechanical – 19
- Civil – 10
- IT – 5
- Training Locations: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, and Nagaland.
3. Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering)
- Eligibility: Graduate in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com from a recognized university.
- Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month
- Vacancies: 27
- Training Locations: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, and Meghalaya.
4. Trade Apprentice
- Eligibility: 10th Pass + ITI in relevant trade.
- Salary: Rs. 14,877/- per month.
- Trades & Vacancies:
- Electrician – 10
- Lineman – 3
- Plumber – 5
- Fitter – 2
- Training Locations: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, and Meghalaya.
Eligibility Criteria for NEEPCO Apprentice 2025
- Candidates must be residents of North East India.
- Engineering/Diploma/Non-Engineering Graduates must have completed their degree on or after 31st March 2023.
- ITI candidates must have completed their course.
- Age: 18-28 years (Age relaxation as per Government norms).
- Must have Aadhaar Card (compulsory), PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport for online registration.
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on merit as per marks secured in the qualifying degree/diploma/ITI.
- Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the state where the power station is located.
- The final list of selected candidates will be available on www.neepco.co.in.
- Call letters will be sent via registered email.
How to Apply
- For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering Apprentices (Categories at Sl.No.1 & 2)
- Register on NATS: Candidates must register online at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Enrollment Process:
- Enroll with the Board of Practical Training (BOPT) at NATS.
- Obtain a valid Enrollment ID after successful registration.
- Application Process:
- After registration, log in using the registered ID and Password.
- Apply for NEEPCO under the correct Establishment Code and opt for the desired stream.
- Candidates possessing both B.Tech and Diploma should register as per the category they are applying for.
- For Non-Engineering Graduates (Categories at Sl.No.3)
- Follow the same steps as above for NATS registration and apply under the respective Establishment Code.
- For ITI Trade Apprentices (Electrician, Lineman, Plumber & Fitter-Categories at Sl.No.4)
- Register on NAPS: Candidates must apply online through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
- Enrollment Process:
- Register on the NAPS portal and obtain a valid Enrollment ID.
- Steps to apply:
- Click Register and select Candidate.
- Register and log in with your ID and Password.
- Select Apprenticeship Opportunities.
- Search for NEEPCO Opportunity Code.
- Apply for your desired trade.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have an Aadhaar Card Number.
General Instructions for NEEPCO Apprentice 2025
- Read the detailed advertisement and instructions before filling up the online application form.
- No application fee is required.
- Documents related to essential qualification such as ITI Pass Certificate, all marksheets, age proof (HSLC Certificate or Birth Certificate), caste/PwD Certificate (valid OBC (NCL) Certificate) to claim for reservation, etc., need to be uploaded online.
- Candidates who have already undergone such training/experience of one year or more are not eligible to undergo training as per the Apprenticeship Act.
- Candidates still pursuing their course or waiting for the final result need not apply.

- No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for reporting for the training program.
