Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a citizen of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 intending to permanently settle in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: Candidates from categories (ii) to (v) must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India during document verification. Without this, their candidature will be rejected.
