The Indian Coast Guard invites online applications from male Indian citizens for the recruitment of Navik (General Duty & Domestic Branch) and Yantrik under CGEPT 01/2026 & 02/2026 batches. Eligible candidates with 10th, 12th, or diploma qualifications can apply between 11th June to 29th June 2025. This is a golden opportunity to join the armed forces and serve the nation with pride.

Vacancy Details

CGEPT 01/2026 Batch:

  • Navik (General Duty): 260 vacancies
  • Yantrik (Mechanical): 30 vacancies
  • Yantrik (Electrical): 11 vacancies
  • Yantrik (Electronics): 19 vacancies

CGEPT 02/2026 Batch:

  • Navik (General Duty): 260 vacancies
  • Navik (Domestic Branch): 50 vacancies

Vacancies are distributed zone-wise and category-wise (GEN, EWS, OBC, SC, ST).

Educational Qualification

  • Navik (General Duty): 12th pass with Physics and Maths from a COBSE-recognized board.
  • Navik (Domestic Branch): 10th pass from a COBSE-recognized board.
  • Yantrik: 10th pass + Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecom (2-4 years) from AICTE-recognized institution.

Salary Details

  • Navik (GD/DB): ₹21,700/- (Level-3) + DA and other allowances.
  • Yantrik: ₹29,200/- (Level-5) + ₹6,200/- Yantrik Pay + DA and allowances.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard

  • Nationality: Male Indian citizens only.
  • Age Limit:
    • Navik (GD/DB): Born between 01 Aug 2004 to 01 Aug 2008
    • Yantrik: Born between 01 Mar 2004 to 01 Mar 2008
    • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL) if applicable

Examination Fee

  • ₹300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only)
  • Exempted: SC/ST candidates
  • Mode of Payment: Online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI

Note:

  • Fee once paid is non-refundable.
  • False claims of SC/ST status will lead to cancellation of candidature.
  • Unsuccessful payments may take up to 15 working days for refund.
  • Multiple payments for a single application will not be refunded.

Examination City

  • Candidates must choose five preferences for Stage-I exam centres.
  • Preference should begin with the nearest location to current residence.
  • Exam centres for Stage-II can be selected if shortlisted.
  • Once allocated, the exam centre will not be changed under any circumstances.

ICG reserves the right to allot examination centres, regardless of preference.

  • Stage I Exam: Mid/End Sep 2025 (CGEPT 01/2026), Mid/End Feb 2026 (CGEPT 02/2026)
  • Stage II: Mid/End Nov 2025 (01/2026), End July 2026 (02/2026)
  • Stage III: End Feb 2026 (01/2026)
