IBPS Customer Service Associate Recruitment 2025 offers a promising opportunity for graduates to begin their career in the banking sector. Through the Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA-XV), IBPS aims to recruit Customer Service Associates for various participating public sector banks across India for vacancies in 2026–27. Eligible candidates are invited to apply online between 1st and 21st August 2025 on the official IBPS website.

  • Vacancies: State-wise and category-wise vacancies are indicative and available in Annexure-I of the official notification.

Educational Qualification
(As on 21.08.2025)

  • Graduate in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India.
  • Proficiency in the local language of the state applied for is mandatory (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
  • Must have working knowledge of computer systems (certificate/diploma/degree or studied IT as a subject).

Salary Details

  • Basic Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480 (plus increments)
  • Other allowances & benefits as per rules of the respective banks.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian citizen or as per eligibility conditions (Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan refugee, etc.) with a valid certificate.
  • Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025): 20 to 28 years (i.e., born between 02.08.1997 and 01.08.2005)
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC (Non-Creamy): 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
    • Widows/divorced women: Up to 35–40 years based on category

Application Fees & Intimation Charges

  • For SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates: ₹175/- (inclusive of GST)
  • For all other candidates: ₹850/- (inclusive of GST)
  • Note: Bank transaction charges for online payment must be borne by the candidate.

Fees can be paid online from 1st August 2025 to 21st August 2025 only.

Identity Verification

Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam center:

i. Documents to be Produced:
  • Call letter for the respective exam date and session.
  • Valid photo identity proof bearing the same name as on the call letter. Accepted IDs include:
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
    • Driving License (Permanent)
    • Voter’s Card with photo
    • Aadhaar/E-Aadhaar with photo
    • Bank passbook with photo
    • Identity card issued by a recognized college/university
    • Employee ID
    • ID issued by a Gazetted Officer/Bar Council with photo

Not accepted:

  • Ration Card
  • Learner’s Driving License

Other Important Notes:

  • Name changes must be supported by the original Gazette notification, marriage certificate, or affidavit.
  • Signatures in CAPITAL LETTERS are not accepted.
ii. Biometric Verification:
  • Biometric data (photograph and right thumb impression) will be captured and verified at multiple stages.
  • Appearance must match the photo uploaded during online registration.
  • Refusal to undergo biometric verification may result in cancellation of candidature.

Instructions for biometric readiness:

  • Remove ink, mehndi, or anything that may obscure fingerprints.
  • Ensure fingers are clean and dry.
  • If thumb is injured, inform the center authority; another finger or toe may be used.

Candidates are strongly advised to acquire a valid Aadhaar card. IBPS and participating banks may use online Aadhaar verification at any stage of the process.
