The Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) 2.0 is a state-backed initiative providing one-time financial aid to eligible unemployed youths in Assam. Following the success of CMAAA 1.0, the Assam Government has launched this second phase to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

Eligibility Criteria for CMAAA 2.0
- Permanent Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.
- Age Limit: 28 – 45 years as of 1st April 2024.
- Education: Minimum qualification of Class 10 (varies for SC/ST/OBC).
- Skills: ITI/Diploma holders preferred for income-generating activities.
- Bank Account: Must be opened before 1st April 2024.
- No Loan Defaults: Should not have defaulted on loans from nationalized/cooperative banks.
- Family Restrictions: Only one applicant per family can apply.
- Employment Exchange Registration: Mandatory for all applicants.
- Government Employees: Not eligible if any immediate family member is in government service or a pensioner.
