IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2025

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS SO Recruitment 2025 notification under CRP SPL-XV for Specialist Officer posts in various public sector banks. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling SO vacancies for the 2026–27 cycle through a common selection process. Eligible candidates can apply online from 1st July to 21st July 2025. Educational Qualification
(as on 21.07.2025)

  • IT Officer:
    4-year Engineering Degree in CS/IT/Electronics or equivalent OR
    PG in CS/IT/Electronics OR
    Graduate with DOEACC ‘B’ level
  • Agricultural Field Officer:
    4-year Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Agri Business Management, etc.
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari:
    PG in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level
    OR PG in Sanskrit with English and Hindi at graduation level
  • Law Officer:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council
  • HR/Personnel Officer:
    Graduate + Two Years Full-Time PG Degree/Diploma in HR/Personnel Management/IR/Social Work/Labour Law
  • Marketing Officer:
    Graduate + Two Years Full-Time MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGDM in Marketing

Note: Final result must be declared on or before 21.07.2025.

Salary Details

  • Pay Scale (Scale I): ₹48,480 – ₹85,920
    Plus applicable allowances and benefits as per bank rules.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality:
    Indian Citizen or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee (pre-1962), or PIO from listed countries with a certificate of eligibility.
  • Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025):
    • Minimum: 20 years
    • Maximum: 30 years
      (Born between 02.07.1995 and 01.07.2005)
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC (NCL): 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years
    • Ex-servicemen: 5 years

Application Fees

  • ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD
  • ₹850 for General/OBC/EWS

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Exam – Objective type
  2. Main Exam – Objective/Descriptive (based on post)
  3. Interview – Conducted by participating banks
  4. Provisional Allotment
